In alignment with our trajectory of growth, Upya is actively seeking a dynamic and motivated Data Analytics Intern. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a fast-growing team dedicated to making a positive impact on the planet through carbon offset solutions. The role is based in our Lisbon office.

The ideal candidate will get the chance to work on impactful projects that involve analysing data sets, providing creative solutions and leaning into the execution. This candidate will help support decision making through strategic analysis and data-driven approach.

Responsibilities

As a Data Analytics Intern, you will:

  • Solve key strategic problems through analytical frameworks and insights to advise the team on key decisions
  • Carry out desktop research aiming to improve our demand building, segmentation, customer operations and much more.
  • Collaborate and engage with a number of functions across the business – sales, customer success, product, marketing, and tech.

Qualifications

  • Detail oriented and highly analytical
  • Available to start asap and work full-time for 3-6 months
  • Written and spoken fluency in English required (French is a benefit)
  • Planning and Organization : Setting up and maintaining systems to appropriately structure and keep track of tasks and projects
  • Problem Solving : Effectively resolving issues that involve people, things, and processes by using logic and common sense
  • “Can do” attitude and team player
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and listening skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with global teams
