Climate Solutions designs and manufactures sensors to enable the Digital Monitoring of Clean Cooking programs. Through its technology, a combination of up to 20 sensors of any type can be deployed in the same household to monitor key metrics like stove usage, fuel consumption, PM concentration and exposure, climate and health impacts.
The data accumulated can now be extracted directly from the Upya Mobile App through the Bluetooth Reader option. When filling a form, the agent only needs to answer the Bluetooth question type embedded in a questionnaire, position the phone close to the sensor and data is automatically extracted and sent to the centralized data base with the rest of the beneficiary data collected through Upya (GPS, baseline surveys etc.).
This is an exciting partnership for both parties as we continue to push for more and better digital solutions in an effort to enhance the accuracy and ultimately impact of carbon credits.
